If you ask Dr. Dixil Lisbeth Rodriguez for a business card, you will receive a small card with a picture of a jagged stone stairway leading out of a cave. A beautiful picture taken in the Island of Patmos, Greece, when she traveled with her father for dissertation research. You will no doubt want to hear the story. A chaplain, professor, public speaker, and award-winning writer, Dr. Rodriguez serves in health care, education, and humanitarian communities. She writes from her home in Texas. Dr. Rodriguez completed her MA. in English at Bowie State University, M.Div. at Iliff School of Theology in Colorado, and her Ph.D. in Rhetoric at Texas Woman’s University.
